Knights of Mythreth Book 1: The Knight’s Order

A fantasy novel, just in time before Halloween.

The Knight's Order

Knights of Mythreth Book 1: The Knight’s Order has been quietly floating on the interwebs for awhile as an e-book, and I’d like to thank all the people who’ve taken an interest in it. You rock!

I hope you liked it. Please consider leaving a review  on Amazon, or where you bought it, and I will be inspired to finish Knights of Mythreth: Book 2 faster ;). Another good place to leave a review is on Goodreads.

The book has been doing pretty well, and it’s all thanks to you!

It’s because of your support that The Knight’s Order has reached certain ranks on Amazon (which change and fluctuate hourly):

On Amazon USA:

New Update!

It was previously:

On Amazon Canada:

New Update! (along with the very first review!)

It was previously:

And on Amazon UK:

The best ranks it has reached are:

#92 Amazon USA

#24 Amazon Canada (it has reached page 2 on Amazon’s mythology category a couple times now!)

And look, when it was #37 it ranked just after Lord of the Rings! 🙂

#307 Amazon UK

These numbers are pretty good considering it’s Book 1, no one knows of me, and it was released quietly.

Thanks again to all of you who took an interest, and I hope you liked it enough to leave a review, and are looking forward to Book 2! Don’t worry, I’ll keep you updated on its progress.

Updates for Knights of Mythreth Book 1: The Knight’s Order

Speaking of which, I’m still working on getting the print version up and running. Here are the 1st and 2nd proofs:

The 1st proof was too dark. The 2nd is better, but I’ve ordered a 3rd which should be the best.

UPDATE: The 3rd proof arrived! Here is a comparison between the 2nd and the 3rd:

Here are all the proofs together so far:

The 3rd proof has turned out really well. The 2nd proof looked washed out, and the lightning was still too purple. The 3rd proof isn’t too dark, or too washed out, and the lightning is the closest to bluish-purple out of all 3.

So the print will be available soon. I’ll let you know when it does 🙂

The print version is now available everywhere:

I didn’t know printing could be so finicky. Hugh Pindur (the cover artist) was awesome and sent me updated files that will work better with the printer. Check out his art, it’s amazing!

Here’s a look at his art for The Knight’s Order without the text:

Here’s a sneak peak of the inside of the book:

I also did a bunch of test prints 🙂

Update: The Knight’s Order e-book just went live on Scribd. as well. This one was a long wait (2.5 weeks before it was published).

So now the e-book is available on:

Amazon , Kobo , Apple iBooks , Barnes&Noble , 24 Symbols , Inktera , Thalia , AND Scribd.

At some point I may sell it on my website. I’ll let you know if I do.

For those who haven’t heard of this fantasy novel, you can see more information on The Knight’s Order Page.
